Queensland small businesses could be eligible for assistance on their digital marketing efforts under the Advancing Small Business Queensland initiative.

Dollar for dollar matching grants of up to $10,000 are available and the digital technology or service must fall under one of four identified priority areas:

  • content development (web pages, mobile apps, visual and audio media etc.)
  • receiving payments or selling online
  • specialised digital technology or software (business specific)
  • digital planning, marketing strategy development, and training.

To be eligible for the small business funding, the business must have fewer than 20 employees, have an ABN and be GST registered, be based in Queensland and have a turnover of $2 million or less in the last 12 months.

So if you have a new digital project you’re itching to move forward with, but funding is tight – this could be your answer. More information can be found here.
